Xu Huan's Homepage
I am currently a Ph. D. candidate in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McGill University under the supervision of Prof. Shie Mannor. I earned my B.Eng degree from Department of Automation, Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1997, and my M.Eng degree from Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore in 2003. I have worked in Panasonic, Hewlett-Packard and Oracle prior to starting my Ph. D. program.
I have moved to the University of Texas at Austin, as a postdoctoral fellow working with Prof. Constantine Caramanis.
P.S. Xu is my family name, which is pronounced as [ʃuː].
Research Interest: Robustness in Decision Making; Uncertainty in Decision Making; Dynamic Programming & Markov Decision Processes; Convex Optimization; Robust Optimization; Statistical Machine Learning; Game Theory.
