Preeti Vyas

Graduate Student Researcher

McGill University

I am a student at McGill University doing Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Jeremy Cooperstock.

I am part of Shared Reality Lab where my current research has been focused on investigating the use of wearable haptics as an alternative modality for communication and motor learning.

My research areas include human-computer/robot interaction, haptics, user-experience, and motor learning in humans. I am motivated to work on applications in assistive technologies, solving real world problems of communication, learning and rehabilitation.

Apart from research, I read fiction, write poetry, perform at open mics, create doodles and cook food. I love travelling and make crazy travel plans.
