Biography
M. Hossain Mohammadi (S’11, M’20, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2019 and the M.Eng. (Thesis) degree in electrical engineering in 2015 at the Computational Electromagnetics Laboratory from McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada.
In 2013, he obtained the B.S. degree in electrical engineering with the Valedictorian award from the American University in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
He has more than 5 years of R&D experience in the field of power and energy engineering and has expertise with modeling, design, and analysis of electric motors, generators and drives.
His current research focus is on the integration of renewable energy resources into the modern electric grid at the CanmetENERGY Research Centre.
Dr. Mohammadi has been an active volunteer in the IEEE Montreal Section since 2014, currently serving as the section treasurer.
