Visiting McGill in Montreal

My office is room 424 in the Centre for Intelligent Machines, on the 4th floor of the McConnell Engineering building, located at 3480 University Street, on the east edge of the main campus at the corner of Milton and University streets.

On Foot

You can enter the campus either via the Milton Gates at Milton and University or through the Roddick Gates (main entrance), located on the north side of Sherbrooke at McGill College. From the Roddick entrance, follow the main road past the Macdonald Engineering building (on your right), then turn right.

By Car

If you're coming by car, note that the university has reduced on-campus parking to a limited number of spaces for guests or visitors on a booking basis and this, in turn, makes parking near campus increasingly hard to find.

Also note that Montreal was built with a skewed compass, so supposedly "north/south" streets actually run north-west/south-east.

Public Transport

If you're coming by subway (metro), get off at McGill station and walk north to the university. The 24 Sherbrooke and 144 Des Pins bus lines also run past the campus. Consult the schedules for further details but be warned.
