Funding:

There are many possible sources of funding for those students interested in performing research at the Centre for Intelligent Machine at the Master's, PhD and postdoctoral levels. Here are some of the main sources:

  • McGill Fellowships and Awards  

  • Richard H. Tomlinson Fellowship 2002/03 competition (a new McGill award for PhDs and Postdocs)  

  • NSERC (National Science and Engineering Research Council)  

  • FCAR (Le Fonds pour la Formation de Chercheurs a l'Aide a la Recherche)  



    • In addition to these, those students whose projects have applications in Medical Imaging have access to other sources of funding, namely:

  • MRC (Medical Research Council of Canada)  

  • FRSQ (Fonds de la recherche en sante du Quebec)
