Environment recovery from sonar

By using a probabilistic inference mechanism to combine and interpret measurements from (sonar) sensor data, it can be classified with respect to the processes that generated it. This allows for the robust recovery of real-world structures in the environment in an efficient manner in terms of both the number of sensor readings needed and the amount of robot motion required.
