This project is devoted to the development of system identification techniques appropriate for the analysis of nonlinear lumped parameter systems. Work on three approaches to nonlinear systems is being undertaken: a) Block structured or cascade systems such as the Wiener, Hammerstein and LNL systems, b) Kernel or functional series approach: Wiener and Volterra series, c) Parametric approach: NARMAX models.
