Legged Robots at Boston Dynamics

This talk will introduce two recently developed robots - BigDog and LittleDog. BigDog is a large (about 80 kg) power autonomous and dynamically stable four-legged robot made for the outdoors. It has already carried 50 kg payload, climbed 35 deg inclines, and run at 1.5 m/s. LittleDog is a small quadruped destined to be a common platform for a new 'learning locomotion' R&D program in the U.S.
