Terminal Iterative Learning Control (TILC)Applied to Thermoforming Machines

This seminar is about the cycle-to-cycle control of the reheat phase of thermoforming machines. TILC, or Terminal Iterative Learning Control is a control approach where the next cycle set-point trajectory is built from the measurement of the previous cycle final measurement. We did not have access to the temperature measurement during the cycle but only at the end.

The presentation will cover the stability (convergence) analysis of the TILC. SVD decoupling and some robustness aspects will also be covered on this presentation.

Experimentation results will show the effectiveness of the proposed TILC algorithm.
