The multibody simulation package MOBILE is an object-oriented programming environment written in C++ for the modelling and simulation of multibody systems. Complex systems can be assembled corresponding to the real system step by step in an intuitive manner. The interface to OpenInventor allows for on-line 3D visualization. Virtual slider bars enable the user to change model parameters directly during the simulation. This presentation gives an overview of the program's usage, features, and applications. In particular, focus is given to latest developments in the field of modelling contact dynamics. Short movies will demonstrate MOBILE's modelling capabilities.
