This project aims at developing an analog controller for a magnetic levitation device.
The work will include:
· analysis of capacitance based position sensors,
· procurement and installation of sensor,
· analog electronic controller design

The work will include:
· analysis of load cell sensors,
· procurement and installation of sensor,
· analog electronic force controller design
· controller implementation

This project will
consist of modeling, designing and testing various temperature and level
control laws for IALab's process tank
experimental rig. The controllers will be designed using Matlab and implemented
in UNAC running on an Allen-Bradley OC1747 open controller.
